The most common type of cancer in the United States is skin cancer, but fortunately it is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer. Sunscreen should be applied every morning within your daily beauty routine.  Also, do not neglect your body when it comes to sunscreen. Many people just apply sunscreen to their face, not realizing that many other parts of your body are exposed to the sun throughout the day, including your hands and arms.</p><h3><div

They are found most abundantly in fatty  fish, like salmon, mackerel, tuna, and herring, while the best plant  source is flax seeds. If getting more fish is not easy, fish oil or  flax seed oil supplements are also a good way to get Omega-3’s. With  a good level of them, your body will be ready to ward off diseases and  give you years of health.</p><h3><strong>Antioxidants</strong></h3><p>When harmful substances do  get in your body and are processed, the byproducts are called free  radicals,  and antioxidants destroy these toxins. Berries of all varieties are  some of the best foods for antioxidants, and green tea has a good amount   as well. As a rule of thumb, the deeper and more vibrant the color of  a fruit or vegetable, the more antioxidants it will have.</p><h3>Balance Your Hormones</h3><p>One of the least talked about  aspects of health is hormones. Our diets today throw our hormone levels  out of whack, and cruciferous vegetables are a good way to rebalance.  These are things like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts,  kale, and collard greens.</p><p>It is also important to avoid  sugars, processed foods, and the chemicals in “diet” foods and plastics  to balance your hormones. The right balance can regulate metabolism  and thyroid function, which can add years to your life.</p><p>While it seems overwhelming  with everything to keep track of, it is not about being perfect right  away.
