It&#8217;s true that reducing your gut can increase your confidence. Unfortunately, there is no magic pill or  special potion that can do this for you. The only sure fire way is to burn  energy by exercising and paying attention to your diet. The more you move, the closer you get to your goal  of a flatter belly.</p><p><span

class="alignleft size-full wp-image-813" style="margin: 8px;" title="stockfresh_id72646_female-torso_sizeXS" src="http://www.healthcourage.com/wp-content/uploads/stockfresh_id72646_female-torso_sizeXS.jpg" alt="" width="222" height="331" />Doing this requires consistency, and it&#8217;s best if you develop some type  of routine that repeats on certain days of the week, so that you find a  rhythm that works for your body.</p><p>Once you have found that rhythm you  will be able to build off of that and increase your routines intensity,  getting you to your ultimate goal. The following are a list of exercises  that do not even require special equipment.</p><ul><li> The list of workout methods here is not all inclusive, there are  many  more and also many variations of the same thing. All of them burn  fat,  build tone, and will in effect help you get rid of your extra gut.</li><li>Exercise and sweating do get a lot of attention when it comes to  losing  weight, but something that can never be overlooked is the  importance of a  good diet.</li></ul><ul><li> Push ups. These are known all over as a standard workout that anyone  can do whether or not you own any workout machines. The concept is simple = use gravity to your advantage.</li><li>Crunches. Don&#8217;t have any weights to lift? You can still get great abs. If you master crunches, you wll be well on your way.</li><li> Sit ups. These are similar to crunches, but with a subtle difference.  Sit ups require you to sit farther up, while crunches simply make you  crunch your abdominal area.</li><li> Squats. This workout will get your back muscles as well as many of your leg muscles working.</li><li> Stiff leg deadlifts. This type of deadlift will test your legs, back,  arms and much more simply by leaning forward on one leg while trying to  keep your body straight.</li></ul><p>Many people have written off diets all together, claiming that they are  either dangerous or don&#8217;t have any effect. The key here is to not go to  any extremes, and find a point of moderation. The diets that are  recognized to be bad for you are the ones that require you to consume  large amounts of one or two things, or abstain too much from certain  foods that you actually need to function.</p><p>Avoiding this pitfall is easy, just find a healthy balance and maintain  moderation. Do not buy into a diet if it claims to burn your belly fat  in some ridiculous amount of time, or if it requires you to go to one  extreme or the other. Staying in the moderate zone and keeping your  regular exercise routine is worth more than all the special pills and  super hyped workout machines in the world.</p><h3>Burning Belly Fat IS Possible</h3><p>So the good news in all of this is that you absolutely can burn away  your belly fat in an impressive amount of time, the bad news is that you  do indeed have to do the work to get there. This should serve as  motivation to those seeking to take on weight loss, and help you continue to push towards the goals you have set for yourself. All the  while, you can save money by avoiding expensive and unneeded equipment. On top of it all, you will not be harming your body with radical diet strategies.</p><p>This means you&#8217;re already ahead of the pack, and it puts you on the right  track towards having the flat belly you&#8217;ve always wanted. Those who take  weight loss seriously, and those who put in the required work  will be rewarded with weight that they can lose. Even more  importantly, it is weight that they will be able to keep off.</p><p>Too many times weight that is lost quickly as a result of radical  dieting comes back later, but with a good routine and the right diet,  that weight is gone for good. Nothing should keep you from looking the  way you want, and by keeping these tips in mind nothing will. Discover that sport you used to play or go for a scenic run with a friend instead. Not only will you get a workout, you will feel better about being outdoors and taking up new activities.</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Buy More Produce.</strong> If you replace one snack food on your shopping list with a healthier choice like carrots or celery, you will save money in addition to calories. Spice up these snacks with a healthy dip like hummus or guacamole, and stock up on greens. You can have the same convenience as a bag of chips with baby carrots or a pre-washed salad.</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Do Not Buy Everything Organic.</strong> The main problem that organic foods avoid is pesticides. These chemicals stay on foods where the external skin is eaten, like berries and apples. Foods that you peel, such as citrus and bananas, are not at risk for pesticides and buying them organic does not make as much sense.</li></ul><p>Most people make excuses for why they cannot make changes like this, whether it be time or convenience. When you think about it, however, it can take less time to exercise at home or at the park, and you would be buying food anyway. If you&#8217;re thinking about it and doing nothing, though, it&#8217;s almost as bad as not even thinking of doing anything. Does that make sense?</p><p>It&#8217;s difficult to get motivated to lose weight and stay in shape, but luckily, the Internet offers a lot of diet and fitness tools that can help you.
