Nutritionist or Dietitian: Which is Real?

You might think that a nutritionist sounds like nutrition, which sounds like it deals with food. So, a nutritionist is someone who can advise you on your food intake, regulation, etc. You might also think that a dietitian sounds like diet, which also could mean the food you eat. So, a dietitian is someone who can advise you on what food you eat, how much you eat, etc. Now, you might be a little confused. Why have two different titles for the same person? The truth is, these two words, while they sound so synonymous with each other, are in fact quite different. So different, in fact, that choosing one over the other could mean a serious risk to your health or knowledge of it.
