Let’s face it: willpower is great in theory but not very dependable in practice. A rough day at work, a night out with friends, or any number of situations can put you in tough spots that lead to overeating. Instead of relying on willpower in these situations, create conditions that automatically keep you from overdoing it.
Here are three ideas to get you started:
- Individually Wrapped Foods. Wherever possible, buy single serving packs rather than a big box. This works great with cereal, which is normally way too easy to eat two or three bowls of. If individual packs are not an option, make your own using plastic baggies. Mentally, it is harder to open up and finish several mini bags than to casually grab handful after handful from a big bag.
- Get A Doggie Bag Before Eating. Dining out is always a challenge, considering the enormous portions at restaurants. To keep from overdoing it, ask the waiter to take half of your entrée to go as soon as it comes out. Better yet, ask them to do it when you place the order so you never even see the full sized dish. This will literally take temptation off the table.
- Do Not Shop On An Empty Stomach. The best way to prevent a bad food binge is to not have that food in the house. Food shopping while hungry is risky because our animal instincts kick in and we make illogical, short-term choices trying to satisfy our urges. Shopping while full lets you use your head to make the right decisions.

I have done this with all three of the above. Place the fish, scallops, and shrimp in a shallow baking dish, top it with heavy cream, butter, fresh garlic, and salt/pepper. Place it under the broiler until the "seafood" is cooked. I usually eat with linguini or some sort of pasta.
Not sure how i feel about this one, he managed to damage us a little this season, but i still don’t think he’s as good as his ego thinks he is. What worries me more is that this seems to be erring us more towards the ‘safe and expensive’ transfer mentality, rather than the likes of Tiote or Benny A (though that also turned up the likes of Best and Perch, so i guess that aint fool proof neither!)
no brands r fool proof but loreal is good. and i think henna and coffee would look good
