Salads with a healthy meat such as fish or chicken (baked or grilled) is a pretty good food choice. For a higher calorie snack, you can always go with granola bars. (lots of fiber there as well). Cut down to no more than one soda a day. Pick up drinking lightly or unsweetened teas, especially green tea.

Fruits and veggies are good… apples, bananas, papaya, grapes, carrots, celery, etc, etc, etc. Popcorn (not the pre-salted super buttered type) is a pretty healthy snack (kettle corn is sweet and still pretty low calorie). Come and see for yourselves tomorrow at the famous Stroud Farmers Market in Gloucestershire. The market's Green Man Cafe will buy the ingredients from the market and prepare PROPER farmers market soups. We will have a taste trial so that you can compare ours with Heinz!
The Farmers Market "trade mark" should be protected and taken out of the reach of these marauding giants, stalking the countryside plundering any good idea and instantly turning it into someting preserved, salty and twisted. Sorry, they make me cross. Come and show them up to be the cynical pilferers they really are!
I really believe that FARMA (the Farmers Market umbrella organisation which accredits and certifies these markets in th UK) should be investing a large chunk of it's budget into protecting it's accreditation and branding, rather like the Soil Assoc. etc have done through govt. directives for the term "Organic". After all, I have heard through a reliable link that Heinz is investing £3.5M into the launch of their mediocre soup. Farmers Markets are something special and brilliant and celebratory, it is madness to sit by and let this happen.
As a side swipe at the PAID market organisers, who all received an email from FARMA, as far as I know only 2 of them have taken this issue up with any sort of crusading fervour, and called in the Trading Standards Agency.
So I say as a Trader....Heinz, we demand that you withdraw this soup, it is nothing better than deceitful identy theft. Shame on you, it is bully tactics and to be abhored.

It's not a fair to hijack the term Farmers Market, but is the Heinz version as nice and fresh tasing as the real thing???

Come and see for yourselves tomorrow at the famous Stroud Farmers Market in Gloucestershire.
